On June 18 (Hawai’i Standard Time) / June 19 (Japan Standard Time), NINJA arrived at the summit facility of the Subaru Telescope on Maunakea from Hilo. With the support of the Subaru Telescope summit staff, the cryostat was lifted from the truck bed onto the observation floor.
A series of inspections and functional checks are scheduled for next week to verify that the instrument was not affected during transportation.
