On August 6 (Hawai’i Standard Time), with the support of the staff at the Subaru Telescope, NINJA was successfully installed at the infrared Nasmyth focus of the Subaru Telescope. The red support structure and the square cryostat mounted on top, shown in the photo, together constitute NINJA. We will proceed with integration with the telescope and performance evaluation in preparation for NINJA’s first observations.
